Ryan the Triathlete!

Last weekend I was out at Rancho Seco with over 500 other triathletes competing in the TBFRacing 26th Annual Tri for Fun Series. Boy! What an experience. I did the .5 mile swim – 16 mile bike – 3 mile run in 1:34:09. Demolishing my personal expectations by almost 6 minutes! Special thanks to my wife Angie for letting me train as much as I do and to the Mad Cows Racing Team for their support!

Fiesta Days Parade is tomorrow. I just remembered that it rained last year during the parade. I have some cute pics of the kids under an umbrella. It's highly unlikey that it is going to rain this year. It should be nice and sunny. But hopefully not too hot.

Also, Saturday means Farmers Market and if you read my last post, you know how much I love that.

Gavins last day at PEP School

It is the end one time and the beginning of another. Today, Angie and I went to Gavins graduation from Pre School. It was really cool. They sang songs and presented them with a big binder of all their creative works. Angie shed a tear and I even got a little choked up. Gavin did 2 full years there and had such a great experience. We highly recommend PEP School!

My most favorite thing to do early on Saturday mornings... enjoy in our downtown Farmers Market! It starts tomorrow and that makes me happy!! Been daydreaming of fresh strawberries all day (okaaaay...and the donut holes too). The produce is wonderful, gorgeous flowers, excellent entertainment and a variety of interesting and delightful vendors. Bring your eco-friendly shopping bags and join in the fun! Eat fresh, buy local!

Wine Stroll on Saturday

Tomorrow is the first wine stroll in Downtown Vacaville. I invited Laura from Exhale Center for Yoga and Pilates to come join in the fun. The event goes from 4-8 and we will be giving some cool stuff away. I will have my Super Cool Session Savings as well for all participants. We will have 4 stations on the 500 Block of Main Street. Naughty or Nice, Debartolo Jewelers, The Mirage Salon and Spa, and us! Come down for some fun and beat the heat with a taste of wine.

The new issue of Vacaville Magazine is out on the racks. I have a handful of Magazines and of course you may come in, say hi and grab one. What I love about working with Lauren is that she always allows me to stretch my creative mind with a purpose. This time Chris and I photographed at the Iris Farm early one morning and came back with tons of super colorful images. Many of the images could have graced the cover, but this one spoke to us.

Yoga with Exhale

Today is a good day. I get to work with Laura Lutz from Exhale Center for Yoga and Pilates. http://exhalesolano.com/ This is our second shoot. The first one was incredible. These practioners can get into the most amazing positions. You can see some in the current issue of Vacaville Magazine. They have inspired me into the practice of the form as well. Now, I am not even close to them but I definately feel better and I am injury free in my training.

OK! So I'm going to try to blog 5 days a week for a month. YEP! My postings so far have been sporadic at best. So, I am going to TRY to blog every work day. Tuesday through Saturday. If you catch me slipping a day that I do not have an entry... you get a FREE SESSION or a free GIFT PRINT from a previous session. But you have to call the day after the non posting day. Any questions call me.
I can not guarantee the quality of the post or even its relevance to anything, just the wacky world that is inside my thoughts. Probably some community stuff, some of my recent sessions, little things that happen in my family etc... So this is my first post!
